Lauren Nelson Crowned
Miss Teen Oklahoma 2004

Lauren Nelson is a 17-year-old native of Lawton. She is the daughter of Mark and Sherrell Nelson. Lauren was crowned at the Miss Teen Oklahoma Pageant on June 8th at Holland Hall School in Tulsa. She competed as Miss Teen Lawton, a title she won in November of 2003. At Miss Teen Oklahoma she won Preliminary Swimsuit and Talent awards as well as the Overall Talent award and tied to win Overall Interview, earning over $2350 in scholarships.

Lauren is actively involved in school and community activities including Lawton-Fort Sill Teen Council, Junior Leadership Lawton Class of 2004, Key Club, and Pom Squad. She has been on the Honor Roll for 5 years, is a member of National Honor Society and plans to attend Oklahoma City University and major in vocal performance.
